Im busy So Ive been working very lightly.

Ive had a lot come up at work. So I havent been able to work on this at all really. Untill I can catch a break I wont be able to keep you updated.

Posting my setup

So a few days ago I got my Cintiq, and I forgot to post my setup. So if you were wondering how kickass it is here.



In other news, Ive been working steadily on new background designs and new system designs. Ive tried and failed at making an AI character I like so thats ate up alot of time. I'm looking for a better chat system, and maybe a screen capture or live stream.. I'm willing to spend money to upgrade that in the future, but for now if anyone has some free suggestions that would be dope. (I need it to not lag photoshop and flash as I work).

Well thats it for my update today. I might do some research on that stuff, but im to swamped to do a steady design session on the game.

The storyline

So ive been working on a story line for the game. I wanted something sci-fi and makes sense somewhat. And that lead me into a story of the humans long ago mixing their bodies with the animals of their planet to gain power.

Soon after the ones who were pure grew disgusted and forced the mix breeds out, ultimately destroying the ecosystem in place on earth. Earth Decayed into a wasteland where the main player resides.
With the fall of the earth the colonies also fell, creating a lawless galaxy of slave traders, and pirates. The players goal is to rebuild the order, and to do that they must raise the money required, even if its at the loss of others.

I can write out a detailed, and longer version if it is desired. I didnt want to spoil any story so this is only things you will find out through the start of the next update(Still a long time away). If the commentators want it then i will give a detailed plan of the game play and story, With a big SPOILERS TITTLE for those who don't wish to have it ruined, in my next post.

This is my small update, Tell me what you think and any ideas/wishes. Its early enough in the development that the gameplay/story can go in anyway I find entertaining.

NEW Tech... in a few days

I bought a Cintiq tablet! Its being shipped :(

 I needed to increase my productivity at work, and lose the disconnect between sight and hand. So although my wallet hates me right now, i bought a Cintiq.

What does this mean for you exactly, well it means that i will also be able to improve my artwork on this game as well. And for those who think im showing off.... I am!

just kidding, Im telling you this because until it arrives im not going to bother creating good copy work for art, but i will be programming. So i should have a great start in the new year.
